The Storybook Experience

If trying new places and services makes you nervous, we get it! At Storybook Salon, our number one goal is creating an unforgettable guest experience. Read below to learn more about your experience at Storybook Salon.

Pre-Appointment

Before your appointment, we have plenty of resources to help you feel confident and prepared to sit in our chair! Once your appointment is booked, you will receive an email with our welcome packet and new client intake form. While filling the intake form isn't necessary in advance, it will save you about 5 minutes on the day of your appointment.

Additionally, you can visit our pre-and-post-care-hub to discover any steps you may need to take specifically for your appointment type. If we have questions regarding your booking, we may contact you via call, text, or email to get more information and make sure we're on the same page before you even arrive.

You will receive a confirmation text after booking the appointment. Please follow the prompt in the text to allow further reminder texts. Reminder texts will be sent twice more leading up to the appointment, one of which will ask you to confirm that you will be coming to your appointment. If something changes and you are unable to make it to your appointment, we just ask that you let us know before 24-hours before the appointment time to avoid late cancellation fees and so that we may fill the spot. 

Your Visit

We can't wait to see you! On the day of your appointment, you will be greeted by our friendly staff with a coffee, tea, diet coke, or sparkling water. We also have snacks available at our coffee bar. If you have not yet had the chance to fill out the appropriate forms, no worries! Your service provider or our concierge will bring you an iPad and give you a few minutes to fill this out.

Your service provider will then bring you back to the chair or treatment room, where you'll receive the best consultation you'll ever have: and we stand on that. From lifestyle preferences, to maintenance preferences, and down to the very dollar of your budget, your service provider will not only come up with a formula, but they will check all the boxes to ensure you have the best experience and leave the best results.

For color and extension services, you may be in for quite a while! We love creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Here, you can relax and let us make you feel like the very best version of yourself.

All along the way, we will check with you to make sure you are nice and comfortable, and loving the results already. You'll leave with a full understanding of you service and cost, what after-care we recommend for you personally, a maintenance plan, and a smile on your face. 

Post-Appointment

After your appointment, your service provider or our concierge will check you out and schedule your next appointment(s). You will then receive a text message asking to leave us a review on google. These reviews are so helpful for us and we value your feedback.

Within the next week, you will receive a follow-up from our staff to ensure you are loving the results and to answer any questions you may have.

Silent Appointments

Need a silent appointment? No problem! If you need to just come in and take a moment to yourself, please do. Just let your service provider know that you've chosen a silent appointment! The only time they'll speak with you after your consultation is when you ask them questions or if they need to know something about your style preferences. And trust us -- we will not be offended. We talk all day and sometimes a break is nice!
