Blondes

Pre-Appointment:

- Arrive to your appointment 10 minutes early with clean, dry, product-free hair

- Bring pictures of inspiration

- Wear clothing that does not have a hood or big collar. Do not wear dark colors. While we try to make sure we do not get any lightener on your clothing, it cannot be guaranteed due to moving around, etc. Wear something that you would not be upset if it got bleached

- Please note that using a root spray for grays or dry shampoo greatly affects product penetration.

After Care:

- Avoid washing for 1-2 days after your appointment

- Use professional, sulfate-free product

- If using a purple shampoo, you won't want to use this every wash. Click our guide below about how to use purple shampoo

- Hydrate! Lightening the hair is all about removing pigment, which also removes moisture. Use a masque once per week!

- Always use a heat protectant and UV protectant

- Use a hard water shampoo and replace shower filter if you have hard water. This will preserve your tone.

- Be cautious with pool water. If you know you'll be in the pool, get your hair wet inside first, apply conditioner, do not rinse. Then braid the hair loosely or use a claw clip.

- Maintain your tone! Professional glosses are customized to neutralize unwanted tones and add the exact tone you're looking for. They also help treat your hair to normalize the pH and seal your cuticle down. This cannot be replaced by purple shampoo and shouldn't be avoided for blondes. Get a gloss every 6-8 weeks!

Bronde, brunette, and ginger

Pre-Appointment:

- Arrive to your appointment 10 minutes early with clean, dry, product-free hair

- Bring pictures of inspiration

- Wear clothing that does not have a hood or big collar. Do not wear white or light colors. While we try to make sure we do not get any color on your clothing, it cannot be guaranteed due to moving around, etc. Wear something that you would not be upset if color got on it.

- Please note that using a root spray for grays or dry shampoo greatly affects color penetration.

After Care:

- Avoid washing your hair or getting it wet for 48 hours if possible.

- Use sulfate-free color safe shampoo and conditioner

- Use a heat protectant and UV protectant. The sun can strip your color

- If you have hard water, use a hard water shampoo and shower filter

- Do not use shampoos such as head and shoulders or tea tree shampoos. These can strip your color. If you need a clarifying shampoo or scalp help, ask your stylist! We have options suitable for your color

Formal styles and makeup

Pre-Appointment:

-Arrive to your appointment with clean, dry hair / face. Use only products that are completely approved by the stylist in advance.

- Blow dry your hair completely. Do not air dry

- Using a volumizing mousse when blowdrying is helpful for the style

-Three days before makeup sessions, a hydradermabrasion + dermaplaning combination is highly recommended. You can book these services online on our booking page!

- Disclose any medications and skin concerns with your makeup artist

- If wearing extensions, disclose with your stylist ahead of time, and be sure to have extensions maintenanced within a week of the style appointment

Aftercare:

- Remove all pins, clips, ties, clip-in extensions, and volume-boosters after your event. Leaving these in overnight will cause discomfort and unnecessary berakage

- Remove your makeup after your event with an oil based cleanser and follow with your regular skincare. Please do not sleep in the makeup, this can cause breakouts, congestion, and irritation.

-Remove false lashes gently, by holding the eyelid taught at the corner with one hand and gently pulling the false lash off at an angle with the other hand. Your service provider can show you how to do this at the time of your appointment.

- Complete nightly hair care and skincare routine, including combing the hair fully and moisturizing your face

- In some cases, your hair will need to be washed after your event. We may use a lot of product that you do not want to sleep in. Your stylist will let you know whether you need to wash your hair that night or if you can simply comb it smooth and use an oil until the next day
